Ok, so maybe he's not going crazy, but in the past week I've noticed that he is trying to get out of his tank, or at least that's what he appears to be doing. Tonight I noticed him digging at the side of the tank, very determined! He's also been pushing on the side of his corner hide trying to get it out of the way, so that he can try and get out or something. The temps are fine, so that can't be an issue. The only thing is that he noticed my female about a week ago...and also tonight, while I had my little baby gem's tub out on the floor (the males tank is up on a shelf above the floor) he caught sight of him and started waving his tail.

Is he just stressing because of the female? Maybe he just really wants her :p ?! He is eating fine and all, just that he has been trying to get out and is looking at the top of the tank as though he's planning an escape route!!

hey now I'm curious, whats the issue?

The issue is pretty much what I wrote I thought it was...he is "trying to escape" because he caught sight of my female, and probably smelled her, and she is probably in season (or whatever you would call it for a gecko), so he is wanting to mate pretty much :D !

my male usually starts acting weird this time of year. like as if he is hyper and jittery. hes probably desperate to mate and a little frusterated. just my thought on it...

Here's a picture of where I found him last night when I walked in! He was just sitting there, and eventually slipped and fell over :p ...crazy little guy! He just looks like he's staring at the top to figure out how to jump up and get out!
