Is Paint (and insulation foam) Toxic to Leo's

Hey guys,

For many years (6 now I believe) I have had a hobby called Warhammer. Basically it's little models that you battle with with dice like chess or something. Anyways, i loved making scenery for it (buildings, mountians, forests etc).

I made the scenery out of pink and blue foam, and spray painted it with black primer. Then I used hobby paints to drybrush the piece, giving it a rocky texture. Now, is any of this toxic to my two leo's?

This is what i am talking about. Maybe I could make a cave and some rocky bits? I would probably do it in pieces so I can clean the cage better:

It would look like that, except form the backing to their cage so they can climb around. Also to make my cage purty :p

thanks,

usually if you let the paint fully dry its not a problem i mean i use spray paint on all my home built cages and have had no problem

I know a lot of people seal the paint with mod podge. I just finished a hide with foam covered with 2 coats of grout. Then I painted it with stone spray paint and sealed everything after. I made it square so it will fit in a corner. I also added a little partition wall inside for 2 geckos. The sealer makes it look glossy, but I would rather be safe.

i make lots of DIY furnature, its not that the paint is toxic, its that when you go to clean it, it can com off. i seal everything with a non toxic grout sealer. it makes cleaning soooo easy. everything just slides right off. and it protects the paint. i use similar methods as lizard-landscapes.com
