Hey guys. This is my new leo, Zilla, that I got a little over a week ago. I think she's a regular or high yellow but I just wanted to make sure. Here she is snoozing on her new slate after a big meal.

PS: any guess on her age?

spots in the shape of a stripe going down the center of the back...

age 10-18 months i would say
So do you think she's already fully grown? She's only like 5" maybe. I know she looks kind of hefty in the photo but she's not big. lol

I don't know if I'd go as far as saying partial stripe, at all. Normal banding can be see from the gecko's ontogenetic change. The spotting that did and/or has come in just happened to do so higher up the body. Unfortunately I'm replying from an ipad, otherwise I'd load up some similar examples of high yellows I once had.

I'm sorry but I don't think she's 10-18 months. D:

Leila isn't anywhere near that in age, yet she doesn't have the intense baby stripes on her tail as your gecko has. Leila is 8 months old and she looked more like that when I got her 5 months ago.

This is what I was thinking! She still has all her old baby stripes. I'm by no means an expert obviously but by her baby stripes and size I was thinking she was 5-6 months old at the oldest.

Some leos dont loose the stripes.. and its hard to guess age off a picture

I definitely understand what you mean, but by the way the spotting on the stripes are thick it looks like she'll lose them with age.

But that's only what I think based off what happened to my gecko with her spotting. Not trying to prove anything wrong or whatever. D:

Yeah judging by her still very solid baby stripes and size, I can't imagine she's older than 6 months.

I'd say she's a High Yellow, six or seven months old. She doesn't look adult to me, IMO.
