Sorry guys! I'm reposting the issue in the correct format
About your leo:
- Sex: too young to tell
- Age & Weight: I estime 4 weeks to 6 weeks, I don't have a scale
- How long have you owned your leo: about 2 weeks
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): local pet store (Pet Supplies Plus, they take care of there animals here at least)
A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo: Every couple of days since he's young
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now: Not different but I haven't had him long enough to know really. It's more of unusual behavior for a leo in general (I think). Stays in his warm hide all day and night, rarely comes out.
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe: None that I know of.
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal): They looked flat and dry, but probably because of the heat lamp. I will get a better look in the next few days when I get a UTH and will post it here.
- When was the last time he/she went: Not sure exact time, but he went again before I got up this morning, so I guess he went last night.
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on: His tail is much smaller than when I got him (see my second post), and he's also in his hut 24/7 on the warm side. I've seen him a few times in his moist hide. He eats, but regurgitates afterwards most of the time. I found some regurge this morning after I fed him last night.
Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size: 20x10x12
- Type (ex. glass tank): plexiglass I believe, or just glass
- Type of substrate: Tiles with paper towel underneath
- Hides, how many, what kind: two, one warm hide and one moist hide
B) Heating
- Heat source: Originally a heat lamp. I am getting a UTH this after noon and will post the outcomes later this week.
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side): warm side is around 90, cool side gets to about 75
- Method of regulating heat source: not sure how to answer this, but I use a heat lamp.
- What are you using to measure your temps: Stick on thermometer that I lay on the floor without sticking it. Getting a digital soon and will record temps then.
- Do you have any lights (describe): Yes, 75 watt infra-red exo terra light
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females): None
- Describe health, or previous problems: None
Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much): Every other day, about 8-10 crickets
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect): I drop the crickets in after dusting them and come back later to pick out the extras. He usually eats most of them, sometimes only about half. There's usually a few cricks left in the tank afterwards.
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands): Flukers calcium with D3 for dusting, and T-Rex leopard gecko calcium with very little D3 is in his tank at all times in a small cap.
- What are you gut loading food with: I put oatmeal, whole-grain cheerio likecereal, and baby rice in a blender and shred it into a powder. I also provide the feeding crickets with fruit and flukers calcium quencher for crickets.
