Is this a normal?

Is my leopard gecko, Charlie, a normal?

My friend will not let up the fact that she "doesn't look like a normal", and looks more like a mack snow... (Even though macks are born more black/grey and brown/ white...)

I'd say Normal, In her baby picture, She is fairly yellow, I'd expect her to be whiter at that age if snow.

I would say a High Yellow, the background of it is very yellow.

Hi-yellow is back grond color. A Normal leo with brighter yellow than usual.
It's Hypo's that have spot reduction.

Thank you. I knew what the term hypo meant, but for some reason I've never seen a high yellow with a carrot tail or with lots of spots..

Don't high yellow babies usually look like this?

You still haven't, She's a Hi-yellow with a bit of orange in the tail.
She no way near qualifies as a Carrottail.

Or with lots of spots.

But this leo is not a Carrottail either. A carrotail is from the base of the tail,
A clean orange the minimum of at leat 15% with no black spots in it.
