Is this an acceptable setup??

I picked up a pair of giants for my daughter to care for and breed. Can we keep the humid hide on the hot side? Hot side is 89-90 and cool side is 79-80.

Seems like a nice setup. You need a dry hide on the warm side though.

As for the wet hide it can be kept on the warm side of your terrarium but you will need to add moisture far more frequently as it evaporates much faster. Besides that I can't see why not.

From your picture above, is the humid hide already on the hot side? If so, just turn the humid hide to be against the back wall, partially on the hot side, and put a dry hide in the front of the tank between the humid hide and the glass.

thats good, the light bulbs will stress them out....make sure they have belly heat though.

if you dont even know a the right temps. I aboslutly believe you should be no where near or thinking about breeding and im sure many breeders here will agree with me
