Is this an ok settup?

I just got my gecko (shima) a mack snow unknown gender. But I've had this cage because of my bearded dragon. Its a 20 gallon long. I just got a heat mat and it seems to keep the temps good. The cage has a coark bark hide his fave and a moist hide right above the mat. On the cool side he has a feed bowl a water bowl and a calci dish. as well as 2 more hides. the substarte is paper towels. is this good.

From what little I know it looks ok.

But, you need a thermometer.

I have a thermometer its the black thing by the log and the other one is hanging on the side.
