I changed up the tank, I put a lot more plastic leaves in onto the side of the tank and my leos are wandering about more, laying on the rocks and in the "bushes" during the day. Is this normal, and good or what?

If they seem to be enjoying it then it's good. IMO anything that increases quality of life even as simple as plastic leaves then go for it. Being more active is a good thing.

I think if u enjoy your set up then its all good.I dont think your leo recognizes the change and addition of leaves with enjoyment .IMO I think they are incapable.I think it my be more pleasurable for u when u look at your setup.

i dont agree totaly with this. my leos def notice the changes i make to their cages no matter how small. mainly the girls though as they know where things normaly are and always have a good old look around and lick of every thing when i change it. they also seem to be a bit wary and jumpy of any thing new. my geckos are more like cats then geckos as they are active all the time night and day, mooching around a bit then they nap on the hot rock (like a cat next to the fire), dig a bit, ect... then ask to come out :)

IMo I dont think leos show the same sort of human emotions, sad, happy.I dont know about your leos but most leos when u add or take away furnishings get stressed to some degree.Sure they do notice and lick for scents and tend to get stressed when u change things up.I'm not sure i would say leo show the emotion like happiness.Thats all I'm saying
