We have a few females that were born in april this year and they're already ovulating! They are still not large enough to breed. Is it normal for them to ovulate that young?

^ well it could cause the females to go off feeding or loose weight and in some cases cause them to lay infertile eggs.

Well does anyone know if it lasts a normal period or do they only ovulate for a few weeks at that age. One female is only about 40 grams.
