So i picked up some new food dishes that were a little deeper so the dubia's that i put in there over night don't escape. But as i was feeding last night, i noticed that that the dubias were just a little short from getting out with the new dishes, but later, i noticed one dubia giving another dubia a "boost" if you will, and that gave him just enough clearance to climb his way out of the tank and burrow between tiles. So i had to tear up the tiles and dig that roach out. So i decided to put a little corn oil that i use for cooking around the edge of the bowl and now the dubias can't get grip to get out at all. but im wondering if the corn oil is save for the Leopard geckos? If not is there any other oil that can used? or any other ideas are welcome.

As long as they don't lick it i guess (which virtually impossible for a leo not to do lol).

Coconut oil or olive oil is safe for a great majority of exotic pets. More so if they'll be used just to lubricate the food dish.
