I hate to do this to you all but... Is this normal? My female Leo has been eating good but lately has been on the cool/humid hide side a lot. That may explain the lump of poo and not really a log. I'm not sure if is from her in a weird position. I found it in the morning and it was hard and dry. Sorry for the poop pic.

Did you change her diet lately?
I ask this because when I changed my Leopard gecko's diet her poop looked like that because she was not used to it but,a week later it went back to normal.

I have only had her for around 3 weeks. I do know the breeder I got her from fed only mealworms and I am feeding mealies also, so I guess she could be adjusting to her new home. Thanks

In my opinion that does not look like a healthy poop. In 3 weeks time the gecko should be acclimated. I would get it checked out with a fecal exam just because it is a new animal and should get checked out initially. Happy Thanksgiving :)

With Thanksgiving and it being really hectic I did not have a chance to get to a vet, but I know the breeder I got her from only uses spring water. I switched her to spring water and after a few days her poo looks completly normal. I dont know if that was it or not but I'm sticking with it for now. I will probably get to the vet this week just in case.

in my opinion i would say u should not use mealies as a main diet... it has nothing to do with the poop but its better for your leo if you use crickets or roaches(or some thing else).....for everyone else spare me your talk about how you use only mealies.

Feeding mealworms as a staple is perfectly fine.

Completely agree with Kristi.....
but would certainly like to hear any (sound) support
for above comment against meal worms.
Especially when some long time breeders and
hobbyists depend on supplies for their animals.
Many, many, opinions on this forum, (which is OK).
But so many not supported by testing, observation
or experience,
I fear can confuse or misdirect
people new to the world of geckos.

Take care. Hj
