It's day 64 of the egg, and it seems to have gotten longer. Sorry for posting so much, but I'm seriously wondering if this only egg will hatch. I only have one Leo egg in the incubator for this season....
I'm incubating at 83-84, it's definetely fertile, and it hasn't hatched yet....it may be the same in width or a little bigger, but it's definetely gotten longer. Is this a sign of hatching? It happened in a due course of two days. Please reply, and thanks.

64 days at those temps seems a bit long, but most of the time you should be able to see the eggs gets a good bit larger a few days before hatching.

Thomas awnserd your question, some get bigger some are big to begin with and don't get bigger. Be patient if it doesn't hatch, theres always next year.

I've had eggs go almost 10 weeks before hatching. Have you candled the egg? I've also had eggs go full-term, and even grow in size, only to have them empty.

I've candled it, it's fertile and there's an embryo in there; it gets bigger every few days. The egg looks really long, but not wide.

Do you have a guess at about how much longer in days it may be? Just a guess. Thanks for your help!
