my gecko laid eggs around 3-4 days ago, how long should i keep her isolated from the others? thanks. she is also not eating too well, she is just eating a little bit.
leopard geckos can live as a group year-round, even during and after laying eggs. if you want to keep her by herself to rest, you can, but shell be fine with other geckos
We always leave all of our geckos separate except for 2 that are in our "show tank" in our bedroom and not in the rack system. I wouldn't expect her to eat much if she is still ovulating/gravid. After she is done laying eggs for awhile she will PIGOUT. Just as always, keep food and water in her cage and try to reduce stress as much as possible (laying eggs is stressful enough I am sure!:main_yes: )
Usually, females are VERY hungry after laying a clutch. If she just layed and is still not eating, I would leave by herself for a few days until she eats.
