My incubator arrived today. I got it all set up and callibrated between 86 and 87 degrees...it wont stay stable...is it ok that its fluctuating a degree?
Anyway...its ready to go and now im waiting on her... Ive never been so anxious in all my life! ok well maybe twice waiting on MY daughters to be born...but I didnt know id be this anxious for my Gecko....

I kinda liked it better last month when I had no wait, didnt know she was gravid and just found eggs....LOL

I found that if I put a gallon sized ziploc 1/2 full of water under the screening in a hovabator, that my temps only change 1 degree for a little bit every few days. I have my incubator in a closet, so the temp fluctuation of the room doesn't effect it so much.

1 degree or so isn't so bad. Mine(as stated) fluctuates a bit and none of my viable eggs went bad and no birth defects beyond one having a broken tail when I opened the container(have no clue why)
