Hello everybody!
Just thought I would share some cool news. Anyways, I get back from Petco because I suppose I'm a looser and that's where I hang out, actually I'm trying to get a job, but I come home and my leopard gecko is just sitting there looking at me like.. HEY YOU! So I decided to grab a mealworm and hold it near it, and it licked my finger and did it again then WHAM took the mealworm and ate it. So I rinsed and repeated. Pretty cool considering any other time I've stuck my hand in the tank it hissed/screamed at me. Just thought I'd share the story.

i remember the first time mine took one from my hand, it was pretty cool. Congrats but a lot of us will tell you, you can create a monster by doing that! Soon they only eat if YOU feed them!

Yep! I still do it though...only with tweezers and not my hand. It gets to be a pain when they won't eat unless you sit there and feed them one by one! So beware :main_thumbsup:.

Awww they're so cute when they do that! You get in and they just look up at you with those big bright eyes I'm glad to hear that yours is getting used to your hand being near it... soon enough, he'll let you pick him up or he'll just walk right on to your hand Such a good feeling!!

I have to agree that it is cute but you really do create little monsters, LOL. It's ok though if all it takes is a mealie or 7 to get all that love it's worth it. Congrats!!!!
