lmao! That's funny. It's funny because there are so few normals that many people have no idea what they look like. We personally don't have any but we need to get a 1.1 pair to help keep this morph going...there seems to be a huge lack of normals for sale anymore.
These are two of our adoptees and we were told that they were both "normal" leopard geckos. Hope the pictures work. I 'm still new to posting them and they don't always work for me.
I have a stock of 1.2 normals that I plan on breed every season till the end of time. I still think there is alot of beauty in a basic gecko like that one. And not everyone wants a $100 gecko. Most of these are going to be sold to pet stores.
I am happy breeding the High-Yellows. They are bright and something everyone can afford too buy. In 2009 I will be breeding Albino Bells and Tangs besides the Hi-Yellows
I have 2 females not eating. One of my normals hasn't eaten in 3 weeks. so this is normal behavior? I was trying everything. I even resorted to offering her wax worms and she just walked on it.
Yeah, I go through this once every year...(sigh)...I have 3 females, eventually they'll all go off food for SEVERAL months, lose up to 15% of their weight, and get me super worried! The only thing that I can do is wait it out, perhaps giving them a bit of mealworm mush once every few weeks, don't know if that is necessary, but it sure make me feel better...
For this very reason, I am only buying male geckos now! Its ok, as I don't breed my geckos.
