A little while ago, I tested to see if my two female leos, Cocoa and Butters, would co-habituate well...and the results were more than pleasant. There were no signs of aggression at all! No fighting, no S-tail wagging, nothing. Just a lot of nose bumping, licking, and a little derpiness while they were both climbing around.
I first put them both in a new enclosure with a screen divider between them and let them settle for a bit before removing it. They were both a little nervous at first, but otherwise mellowed out and went about their usual herp lives, so to speak.
I'm aware that they can still break out in a fight at any time, and I will be keeping a close eye on the two of them for and signs of aggression/bullying, but this experience has made me very hopeful. I will also look into getting a bigger tank in the near future.
Yay! :main_thumbsup:
