IT'S SNOWING!

It is snowing here in Greenville, SC.... we have about 4-5" now. If it were closer to Christmas, I wouldn't mind so much, but it is supposed to be spring!!!:main_rolleyes: Coming from Vermont, I thought I left this whole snow-and-ice thing behind!!

I just hope my power doesn't go out, it is just not set up for this kind of weather here. But I've got my gecko backup plan ready, just in case!

Snow is very deep here now. I lost power for around 30 mins this morning. Oh well off to bed have to try and trek to work tommorow! Everyone down south we have to be careful you guys know we cant drive in the snow!!!!

It snowed here in Atlanta today and actually stuck - we got about two or three inches..I can't say I wasn't surprised though I was rather unimpressed (I lived in Montana for eight years and Alaska for four..what can I say.)

It's snowed a ton here and it's still going. No school here either but I'm home schooled so it's not as fun. I don't think my tutor's showing up today though.

ZOMG they closed TC? That's a shocker. They'll close Rowan for a drizzle, but there can be a tornado blowing through and TC'll expect people to show up.

For the record, our district has the WORST public high school I've ever heard of. They have gotten away with more things than I've ever seen... I graduated from there last year but if I was a parent and my kid was going there I'd raise hell over some of the stuff that happens there.

Anyway, yes! Snow! And your akita is beautiful.

Right now it's snowing really heavy in NYC. They estimated 10+ inches. Most of the private schools in my area closed last night before the snow started to fall same with my university. The automated messaging system started texting and calling me at like 8pm and didn't stop until 9:30p, lol. This morning I woke up to the NYAlert text message from my old school that all CUNYs in the area were also closed. I honestly didn't believe when they said we would get so much snow. 20 years old and I'm ecstatic that I actually got a snow day. I want it to stop so I can go play in the snow and probably show my dog snow for the very first time This snow can keep going until Thursday because my spring break starts Thursday night

I don't have a beautiful backyard.. jeez I don't even have a backyard, lol but I took some pictures of the stuff outside my window to see all the beautiful snow..

Snowing here in Allentown, PA No where near as much as NYC is getting though...so far barely enough to cover the grass.

We got a lot of snow here in Mass, too- everything is closed... which I found out when I went to open the doors and they were locked. lol

No snow here in Florida! =( As much as I really hate the snow, I wouldn't mind some right now~

Back home in NJ they got about 10 inches.. Where my parents are anyway.
Ugh. When I lived up there, we didn't get snow like that. =( MAYBE 5 inches. lol.

Send some of that snow my way~ Freak some Floridians out! =P

I went to work today..got there at 645 told the boss I wanted to leave at 1145 to go play in the snow before it was gone..we dont get it around here very often!
was more ice when i got home but oh well
