I just seen your awsome awsome mack female. I was wondering if macks gain their yellow as they age, or if they show pretty much from the begaining what they will look like? I got 4 macks from frank, one is very very white. She has some lavender that is fading with every shed and it looks as tho shes not gaining any yellow, So i was just figuring she would be white, and black...heres a pic from today, granted my camera is not brand new and i cant get "true color" pics from her

just for kicks I believe this is her sibling

I named them "Diamond and Pearl" lol

I saw those Macks in person, they are very pretty!

To answer your question, yes, the Macks start out Balck and White and will gain the yellow coloration as they grow. So, you can't tell what they will look like until they are full grown.
