The pink gecko, unknown morph, not going to pretend I know, is growing a little funny. Not bad, she puts on weight progressively, she was 14 grams when I got her probably 2 or 3 months ago and now weighs 40. She is still shaped like a juvenile, I have 2 other female adult geckos that are 52 - 53 grams and are fully grown in, nice and fat, fat tails, look like they should. Zamora is getting longer and longer. She's longer than the two adults and continues to grow longer and slightly fatter. She is housed in a 20 long on paper towels by herself, her frame isn't bulky enough to be able to handle company, and Watto, who is 67 grams of man gecko, don't want her to have to compete and risk injury or starvation. She's just too little to be introduced to the family. What kills me though is, that this gecko is 6 months old, and is growing out lol. She's really long and her tail gets fatter and fatter but it seems to get longer. I'm wondering if this a trait typical to giants? I have a gecko I believe to be a giant, he's 100 grams and awesome, but he was always a little meatier than she is. I'm not concerned about her health. She eats and poops fine, she's just loooonnnnggg. If I can I'll get a ruler next to her so you can see, or better yet get her next to one of the females so you can see how weird it is to have a juvenile that looks like she's bigger than a full grown adult lol. Anyway, just wanted input on the morph, or if what I'm seeing is possibly a giant.
