The trick is to throw it in front of their face really quick. It bounces a bit when you do that and they attack it. Once they get a taste for it they eat more. At least that's how I got mine to eat them. Once they started they loved them.

usually when i drop live mealworms in the tank.. they look at it for about 5 seconds (even if it does bounce) then bend their head and wait for it to move , then attack

I guess it really depends on the leo. I wasn't shocked at all my blizzard male was the first to try them. Anything dropped in front of his face he will attack.

mine usually takes 10 seconds or more before she attacks. sometimes she spits it out, waits for it to move again and attacks once more and then eats it. shes an odd one
