I can assure you leos will actively climb anything they can grip. I had a fake exo-terra rock wall in my old viv, and they'd go spiderman on that thing without thinking. Now that I have my big 3 story hide, I see them climbing up the levels all the time and moving around.

I have a huge rock structure thing my female albino loves to climb on top to and sleeps on it and it's a the top of her cage. she climbs all over the place esp at night.
