Hey guys, I'm piggybacking off of another thread. I was thinking about *same species ONLY* in 1 tank, and was wondering, would AFT's be compatible with leos? They are almost the same species and fairly similar care as well....this was just a question, I'm not planning on getting any other thing besides leos in the near future.

Well like you said, "FAIRLY SIMILAR CARE," thats not "100% the same care," and that will cause problems for one or both of your geckos. Again, different species require different homes, its just better to keep them separate because that keeps them healthy and happy.

They really are not Almost the same species. They are two different types of geckos.

Aside from the obvious fact that it is a bad idea to mix species AFTs require more humidity and too much humidity will make Leos sick.
