So I'm posting these mostly because I need practice learning how to photograph geckos. Constructive criticisms accepted cheerfully, all other sorts ignored...please don't mention the cat hair. (Jadis always finds the fuzziest blanket to leave the evidence on.)

I guess I'll go from smallest to biggest...

Blaze is my Tangerine, I almost wonder if he has bold or 'bandit' genes due to his pattern...any thoughts? I believe he's got some JMG blood hypo in him, but it isn't showing up too much, other than the flickery pattern on his sides I named him for.

Eureka is my enigma het stripe bell...I love his eyes!

(I really like this last one, but my focus was lame)

Here they are together. I initially worried that Eureka wasn't eating enough, since he was smaller than Blaze when I got them. As you can see, my fears were misplaced...

Blaze is to Eureka as Eureka is to Drake (see diagram below) [ggl]

I think Eureka and Papaya are almost big enough to breed, but I don't think they are filled out enough yet. I won't be breeding anyone until I verify weights, I need to pick up a scale this weekend (and I know just where to get it too, once it stops snowing enough to drive).

Happy Holidays to everyone, since we're closing in on the final days, yes?

Great Gecko's!!!

The only thing I can suggest is get a really bright lamp or some other bright lighting so they don't look as over exposed when using flash.

Also try not using flash sometimes.

oh hey thanks Pepper! I will try megalighting in the future.
(I should prolly also learn all the features on my camera and think about a basic photography class, too.)

lol, that's why I named him Eureka, I'd been looking for just the right enigma for me for moooonths; then it was suddenly, "I found it!"

There's baby pictures of him at http://www.leopardgeckosunlimited.com/enigma-gecko.html
He's the bottom right one...I don't know if that would give you any help in finding one like him...but good luck in your search! Maybe in a year or two I can breed him to a bell or a snow (or a snowbell!), but I have enough geckos for now, I don't want to grow too fast. I'm planning on building a rack proper come spring.

Aww. They look great!! Your post look good to me too. I love seeing updates on the gecko's we've hatched! Our SHTCT's seem to grow at a much faster rate then the rest of the morphs we breed, I think it's the Super Hypo in them. Thanks for posting!! Happy Holidays! :)
