To the people that travel to reptile shows. How do you take care of your animals back home? Do you have someone come do it? I was just looking at the recent post by Henrik and Lotta showing their hatchling and saying they are getting ready to leave for the show in Germany. I can't see it being ok to leave a hatchling a whole weekend without care, not to mention if you got some more ready to hatch. So, I am just curious how you all handle that issue. Thanks.

With some humidty, heat and shelter they'e fine. We take an incubator to Daytona for the week with eggs that are due to hatch, power inveter in the truck for the trip. In the wild they don't always have it as nice.

I usually only do local shows and come home every night. I only do one show where I'm gone 4 days, and I have someone come in and feed/water/check eggs, etc.

Whenever I go to shows where I wont be coming home that night I have mom take care of my leos. I put crickets in containers for her to just dump into each tank. Of coarse when I did that I didnt have eggs and my collection was like 10 geckos.

I haven't went to a show to vend yet, but I go to a lot of them out of town for buying.

I only have 10 geckos at the moment, but there moist hides stay moist for 2-3 days and add a big ol bowl of mealies to last them 3-4 days and I'm good to go.

Now that I have hatchlings I'm not sure how that's is gonna work out, but I have my brother or dad to take care of them if need be.
