I bought the viv as a flat pack and made quite a few alterations:

+ Added a shelf about half way up.
+ Added climbing mesh up two of the walls (which they seem to love!)
+ Added tiles on the floor as substrate, and some tissue in their regular toilet spot.
+Added two dim lights on the roof.

Hides: Green moist hide rock, hide on shelf, rock (slow feeder to keep locusts in), wooden hut with two floors and a ramp.

2 water dishes and one calci dish.

Any suggestions????

The climbing wall is a cool idea! :) My leo is clumsy and chubby, she would probably fall and injure herself xD Very clean looking viv, great job

Great setup but isn't it a bit dangerous for the gecko to climb that high? Because if he falls, it's gonna hurt a lot... But looks great though! :D Might as well put a flight of stairs to the second floor, much safer that way. Just my 2cents. :D

Looks pretty cool. I have a gecko that falls a lot while attempting to climb so I wouldn't have anything that allows him to climb high. But if you got a pretty agile gecko and he doesn't fall, then a lil exercise won't hurt.

It looks like a fun adventure zone! Just watch your gecko while climbing for awhile, and if he is doing a good job, I wouldn't worry about him falling. I would do a set of stairs up to the shelf though, just in case. He might be too tired to do it the hard way one day.

its really your call on the climbing...but i would not let mine climb that high. leopards are terrestrial, and they dont have lamellae(sticky toes,SP?) for that reason. they may scale small stuff in the wild, but i dont think letting them climb sheer faces is really a good idea. i saw a kid drop a leopard gecko two feet onto the carpet, and the back legs didnt work anymore, and the animal drug itself around by the front leg...
