My leo has been eatin lots and has always bin a lil on the skiny side but you couldnt reely tell. But i saw one of her poops 2day and it looked like the mealworms she ate just went right thru her. The temps on the warm end are 90 and the temps on the cool end are in the lower 80's. Help?

i just ordered some waxworms that should be here 2morrow. would those be better to digest and fatten her up a bit?

What the he**!?! Are you sure that it isn't worm that got out of the dish? I swear that is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Try not to fatten her up too quickly, maybe 1 or 2 wax worms a day. She isn't too skinny, kinda looks like a recently bred female.

ya she did breed this year but i am just worried that she will keep gettin skinnier. should i decrease the amount of food i give her everyday because the night before she pooped this she ate like 15 mealworms. so should i just feed her like 2 waxies and like 5 mealies so she gradually gets bigger?

as stated earlier that doesn't look like it came out as poo... more than likely she vomited it back up... good cluster

yeah, for the next few feedings, closely monitor how many she eats...don't let her over do it and keep a close eye on the way her poop looks...just in case she might have something

Do you have to have a reptile vet do the parasite check or can a normal vet do it. Because the closest reptile vet is a few hours away. I heard that its pretty much the samea as checking dog poo for parasites.

I agree that it looks like she threw up. She does look a bit on the skinny side but if she was recently bred then that is sometimes normal. Shes probably just recuperating from breeding and will be feeling better soon. Make sure she gets lots of calcium. Breeding takes a lot from them. good luck with her.
