hello everyone as the title says I just got my first gecko... and I have a few questions, but to start I will tell you a little about Pebble and myself. Pebble used to be a classroom pet and has had lots of attention, she is currently 5 yo according to the previous owner. and a little about me... I am 24 yo and am not new to reptiles I currently have two ball pythons one I have owned for 5 years and the other about 8 months.

when I got Pebbles she had just come back from the vet because she has some stuck shed on her eyes. The previous owner told me that the vet said it wasn't too bad and to just put non-medicated eye drops on both eyes every couple of hours... but I think that it may be a bit worse than the previous owner led on since Pebble's right eye is completely crusted over and I haven't seen her open her left eye but it has a little bit of the same thing as far as I can see.

here is a picture of what I am talking about... however it is not a very good picture but hopefully you guys can make it out and tell me whats going on.

looks like you need to take a wet washcloth (warm) and cover her eyes (make sure her nose is open) and then once its looser try to rub it off with a q-tip.
rub gently.

I am assuming paper towel will work? and if that doesn't work the first time... how often should I try? and should I continue with the eye drops? I made sure to get some with only glycerin in them so I am assuming that they should be fine right?

ok I took a better picture of his eye but it's still not perfect but maybe someone can tell me specifically what it's called when this happens and if it's really really bad or not

ok I am super happy I was able to get pebbles to eat two mealies... which I might add took alot of trial and error and about 30 minutes but we did it... and I am going to take him to the vet so we can get this eye problem taken care of... but unfortunately I am not going to be surprised if he is blind in at least on of his eyes :(
