My name is Marina and I am excited that I found this site and the wealth of information that it has brought me I fell in love with Leo's in December 2007 and have been unable to stop collecting them since. Something about these beautiful creatures caught my eye and I am enraptured:2thumbsup:
A little history:
My husband used to have hundreds of reptiles and was associated with the Arizona Herpetological Society where he used to do school shows etc. We never owned a leopard gecko. I was never real excited about any of the reptiles for whatever reason (probably too busy raising our multitude of kids). Do to various circumstances in our lives many of the reptiles were re-homed and/or sold some 18+ years ago. For my husband something has been missing ever since. Over the past two years he has been adding to the few that he had kept and is once again regaining his Herp joy.
I, much to my surprise, began to enjoy some of our snakes and lizards and actually started looking forward to going to Reptile Stores and various events.
This past weekend we were blessed to attend the Reptile Super Show in Pomona. We went both days and had a blast!!! I am now the proud owner of two more Leo's that we purchased from the lovely people at Gecko's Etc. and my husband found a possible mate for our 6' Nile Monitor.
Thanks for having this wonderful site for me to learn from and share with!
