Hello,
I had a beautiful bibron's gecko Snickerdoodle and he just died yesterday. I am still really upset as I found Snickerdoodle wild in a plant and he survived 12 hours with me in a little dixie cup until I got out of school and set him up w/ a home. He was a tiny little baby. I had him for 5 months and he got out of his terrarium one night and was found by a cat. We found him 2 days later and I took him to the vets and hand syringe fed him. I buried him last night. Nothing else will ever replace him in my heart, but I have a huge terrarium and a pretty good setup to get another Gecko. I don't want a leopard as everyone has one. I was told that Crested Geckos are sweet geckos. What is a good cool looking arborial(I have a vertical setup) nice gecko. Snickerdoodle didn't really like people he just hung out behind his fern. I miss him. Snickerdoodle was very pretty w/ a streamlined face and intelligent little eyes.

Forgot to introduce myself

Hi,
I am new to the care of lizards and gecko's. I have had green spotted newts and salamanders when I was young, frogs and turtles. I had a blue tailed skink and a baby snapping turtle for a short time. I found all these wild.
I have fish but I am really new to the care of lizards and geckos. I don't work with animals even though I love them. I have found that in the short time I owned Snickerdoodle my Bibron's gecko that I really like geckos. I am glad that this forum is here.
Thanks and have a great day
