Just my setup (could use some pointers)

Hi guys new owner and all that so Im just showing you the cage for now and tell me what you guys think.

so the UTH is on the same side as the red lamp.. it gets to about 89 on the hot side so he's fine.

this is him in the sand before I took most of it out.

Looks cool. You won't be needing the white light though. He'll come out in the day on occassion, but they're really nocturnal critters.

I would just make sure there is a humid hide for shedding, otherwise, it's a very cool set up!

Looks like enough hiding spots! As long as the warm hide allows for humidity, you're good! I like it And like what moosassah said, you don't really need the florescent light strip, that lamp on the warm side should be sufficient enough for lighting. Where'd you snag this big boy?
