how long will it take for my geckos to sit on the uth, my leo sits on it all day but he doesnt eat much anyways. my fat tail ate a few crickets sat in his hot hide and then went to his moist hide on the cool side. will he eventually get used to it, and i baught and heat wave uth bye exo tile or somthing like that lol

Are you using a thermometer with probe to get an accurate reading of the temperature directly above the heat mat?

If so, what is the temperature?

during the day it ranged from 93-95 and right now its at 88-89. if i close my window it will be 91-92

I would keep your window closed if you can so the temp stays at a constant 93-95 day and night because your leo's behavior (sitting on the warm side constantly) indicates to me that he is having problems keeping his body temperature up. He shouldn't need to stay on the warm side all day at those temps. Although, if this is the leo that is severely malnourished that may come into play as well. Either way, try to keep those temps at a constant around 93-95.

yes the sick leo sits on the heat pad all day. my aft doesnt sit on it as much, he sits on it for an hour or so then goes back into his humid hide
