Hia.

I just rescued a male albino he is extremely under weight just from me looking at him i can tell that.

His shed is not coming off correctly and is covering the majority of his face. eyes and mouth. He doesn't seem interested in eating. i tried giving him meal worms as well as a wax worm to peak his interest but nothing. I am concerned. He also has never been given any type of vitamins.

what should be my next step?:main_huh:

soak him in warm water, gently pull of shed as it will come, soak as much as needed. start with meal worms, calcium with D3 for dusting on the mealworms, and keep a bowl of calcium without D3 in the aquarium. dust vitamins once every 2 weeks (thats what i do others do it differently) make sure he has an under tank heating mat, otherwise he cant digest well. if you can get him to use the bathroom take his feces to a vet for a parasite check. plenty of water in a bowl for hi, a humid hide (wet paper towel in a tupper ware bowl with a hole for him to get into it), a hot hide (on side of tank with under tank heater) and a cool hide(on opposite side of tank from heater)

i made him a humid hid using coconut fiber & tupperware witha hole in the top. he wont stay in it though. i have an under belly heating pad and everything else i managed to get the shed off but the next morning it came right back. ive resorted to force feeding mealworms but was only successdul at getting him to eat one. he just wont open his mouth. i have the calcium powder mixed with a small amount of the multivitamin powder in a dish for him with powdered worms and water. but he is no tinterested in eating. im considering the slurry directions i was given but im not sure how successdul it will be since i cant even get him to open his mouth????

I would definitely try to get a poo sample to the vet ASAP if he has certain parasites he probably wont eat. I wish you luck!
