I picked up a gecko last week from a local breeder and was given this information: Morph-Tremper Albino 100%het Raptor, Hatched- June 16,2012

I just wanted to confirm that it was true, here are a couple of pics:

yes it is a reverese stripe tremper. you can't tell if it's het raptor just by looking at it because het (heterozygous) genes are just carried, not shown. you can find out only by breeding it to a raptor or another het raptor and see what babies come out (if raptors will pop out than it is het raptor).

I have noticed that most het raptors are striped or jungle. So if they say it is het raptor, they are probably telling the truth.

you can't rely on this because you can also have striped or jungle trempers without het raptor. i have some of those and none are het raptor. i also have banded trempers and normals which are het raptors. and technically a tremper can't really be called het raptor because that means het eclipse and het tremper albino, which he already is. the correct term would be tremper albino het eclipse but het raptor just sounds more important

sorry for typing "het raptor" so much but i wanted to be clear :))

I've seen people say het radar with bell albinos and het blazing blizzard with blizzard. I'm jus saying there really is no reason to doubt it is het "eclipse"(which I don't think any gecko can truly be het raptor because that patternless gene is not a simple recessive). I guess the only way to probe it is het "eclipse" is to breed it to a raptor or het raptor.
