I have a RAPTOR, he won't eat much of anything unless it is dark, and will shut his eyes if I so much open the blinds during the day (it's actually quite funny, he almost acts as if he is hung over). It took me a while to figure out that his eating issue had a lot to do with lighting.

If you have yours out in the open, see if providing him with more shade helps (you should be able to tell the difference within a day or two). If it doesn't or if you notice any sort of swelling in the eye area/his tail is already too thin, go see a vet.

Also, generally if you change a leo's environment it can take them up to a month to settle in. Mine didn't eat for a full week after I got him, and only started eating regularly (something almost every day) after a month.
