hello im very new to the gecko world... just want to know if it is better to start with a juvi or an adult sized gecko? any pros and cons... thanks everyone...
I am of the opinion that starting with a healthy adult is better for easing into the hobby. Juveniles require a bit more care (mainly the feeding routine). Also, an adult hopefully has some of the basic taming done already. Getting an adult from a reputable source is a great way to learn the basics of care without the pressure of impacting a growing animal's development.
Plenty of people do start with younger leopard geckos, of course, but if you want the joy of raising a gecko, you can always do that for your second leo.
