I have a normal adult ball python that I've had for 4-5 years and was wondering how much you think I could sell him for, if I sold him to the petstore. I was thinking of seeing if I could trade him for these 2 juvenile bell albino leopard geckos, because I've started getting really fond of them and I've been getting into breeding and stuff. Thanks a lot for the help =)

PS: the petstore I go to is a good one not like ***** or ********, they take great care of their animals and I get all my animals from there =)

Adult Normal Male Ball pythons rarely go for more then $40 wholesale. And retail for about $60-$80

I'd think that they'd be even less than $40. I was going to guess $20 or $30.

At the average petland, they will sell a baby ball for almost $130... I'm not sure why an adult would cost less than a juvi?

I'd expect anything over $25 to be a bonus! Normal males are a dime a dozen because breeders don't typically want them, in a sense they are "pets only". Big chain stores are out of touch with the market, and will sucker anyone they can, and will also give you less trade value in comparison to the selling price.
