(Hey, I'm new to these forums so I'll try my best to post in the appropriate places and such; if I make a mistake, please let me know!)

So this is "King Ghidorah" (named after my favourite Godzilla monster) who I bought at the beginning of May! He's apparently six months old, the pet store said it was a girl but I think it may be a boy (pet stores are not really an authority figure on such things), but either way when this little gecko is older I will be able to tell. I'll just refer to it as a "him" for now. Yes, I know he is very skinny (the pet store I got him from takes terrible care of their geckos- part of the reason I bought this little guy, I felt so bad for him!) but I am working on fattening him up. I'm also planning on changing his enclosure too, to something more ideal and safe (current one is very temporary). I'm not sure what morph this guy is- I've been told leos change a lot in appearance from baby to adult. I do like his colours as they are now, though, I just wonder how much they'll change as he grows!

I think he is a he because of the bulge just before his tail.

I recommend switching his substrate to paper towels. Really soon. Like now.

I think he is a SHTB (Super Hypo Tangerine Baldy) with possible CT (Carrot Tail).

He is really cute!

I thought he was a he for the same reason.

I read a lot about sand; there are some very mixed reviews (some say its fine as long as the leo is 4+ inches in length, others say absolutely never use it). It still makes me nervous though, so I will change it.

Ah, it's nice to have an idea of what he'll look like, and that morph is gorgeous! Thanks for the advice =)

This is how Ghidorah is looking now, after 2 sheds, and many mealworms and the occasional wax worm later. Looking much less skinny now, and his bands have faded quite a lot as well. His belly looked a little big to me, but maybe I'm just being overly-worried as a new gecko owner. I hope this is what a healthy 7-month-old leo looks like!

Oh my. I am very excited as I just got a baby and he looks a lot like yours did when you got him, except not a baldy. I am supers toked to see how good care treats my guy!
