King Worms

Hey, so I have two geckos living in the same tank. They have no problems whatsoever with eachother so there are no problems there. But I've been feeding them king worms because the crickets would crawl behind my styrofoam background and then they'd grow up and start making those annoying cricket noises.
So unfortunately the kingworms ate their way into the styrofoam and clearly made a little home in there. Because once and a while I'll find dead beetles scattered around the floor of the tank, and sometimes I see live ones crawling around. Also, they've been finding a way out of the tank somehow and are making a mess of my room.
I'm planning to move my dear geckos out of the beetle infested tank asap, I'm just waiting for my personal funds to reach a suitable level so I may buy a lid for the other tank I currently have.
I'm just wondering if its safe for the beetles to be in the same tank as my geckos? Cause I don't believe that they come out all the time, and I know my geckos aren't eating them. I just don't want Goon and Sven (my geckos) to get hurt or sick or something from those gross beetles.
Thank youu! : )

My geckos have had a few meal worms escape and turn into beetles but they took car of that problem on their own ;). I don't think they are any harm to you r geckos just pay attention to their skin for bites or abrasions.
