Last update on Peaches

Well sadly when i went into the gecko room after work and checked on Peaches I found that she was no longer with us. I cried most of the afternoon, but I am better now that I am sure she is in gecko heaven and not in the pain she was in. I am actually happier that she went today because we are going to NY this weekend to see the in-laws and I was worried about her care. I have a good friend that comes over and turns temps up and down and tosses in mealies and cleans poo, but would probably be queasy with injections. Anyway, I just wanted to say that Peaches is gone despite my efforts to keep her going. At least she didn't go from neglect like other geckos.

Oh Vickie, I am sorry she didn't make it. But, at least you did everything you could to help her.

Vicky, you did everything you could possibly do to save Peaches. I am so very sorry you lost her, and I know how they tug at our heartstrings when we develop that special bond with the ones we are so committed to helping. It's so very hard to see something you care for in that way suffer and die when there is little else we can do. Kudos for you for not giving up on her...
