Ok, so I made a lay box for one of my females. I put it in there about a week ago. I went out of town and when I was gone it she pulled a bunch of moss out of the lay box, so I know she was in there. Since I have been back though, I haven't seen her in there once. I am using the lay box as the moist hide as well. Before I put the new lay box in, I had just an ordinary reptile hide in there with some moss and she went in there all of the time. My question is, should I put her original moist hide back in the tank with her and just let her lay in there or should I keep the lay box I made in there and just hope that she will go in there when she is ready to lay?? I just bred her today and am kinda worried now about the situation. The reason I switched to the lay box is because I was worried about the eggs sticking to the repti-carpet that is in there.

i think you should make a new lay box with a hole in the top of it because then they cant kick out moss and you probably wont get eggs for awhile so she is prob just getting used to it
