Alright, so I just picked up a new (better) container at the dollar store for a lay box. My question though, should I fill the lay box with my Vermiculite or Moss? I have both, but don't know which would be better.
She will be laying in a few days, so I need some help ASAP!

Thanks all,
Hayden

I think either will be fine, but it depends on the moss. I personally prefer using vermiculite because I know it's sterile and I've had trouble with fungus in the past, especially with peat moss. Now I just use that coco-fiber stuff and it works great.

Show us pictures of the eggs when they're laid! Oh man, I'm so excited for you! My geckos aren't even ovulating yet!

Wow, awesome! What morphs do you have? I swear, it's the coolest thing ever when you've got eggs in the incubator. It's so hard to wait, but when those eggs finally hatch it's like Christmas. You never know what's gonna come out of the wrapping!

I haven’t ever used either. But, if those where the products I had on hand I’d most likely go with the vermiculite.

I have:
1 Blazing Blizzard Female
1 Blizzard Male
2 High Yellows Male and Female
1 Rainwater Albino Patternless Unkown Gender
1 Tremper Albino Male
1 SHTCTB Unknown Gender

The eggs will be from My Blizzard Male x High Yellow Female
I know, it is a lame combination, but they still will be very special babies to me.

Thanks for you reply, Nick. I think I will go with the verimiculite. Should I use regular vermiculite or moistened?

I would definitely moisten it. Vermiculite tends to be dusty if it's not damp and I doubt it's good for geckos to be breathing it in.

And hey, the cross is still cool, you should get some pretty hets out of it!

Si, Senor!
I don't see why Regular Blizzards aren't very popular. I like the dark purple coloring.
Thanks for the help Snowgyre!
