how do you know if your female is going to use her lay box???
i got my geckos from a woman on craigslist, who wasn't taking care of them very well. she told me the female lays eggs every year or so, and she never provided anything, no calcium or a lay box, she just layed them right on the floor.
i know she has eggs right now, and she should be laying them pretty soon. she has been refusing food, etc. i made a lay box for her, and put her in it for her to know it's there, but she always comes right out. is she going to know what to do with it since she hasn't had it her whole life??? or will she just lay her eggs on the ground?
