Leave UTH on or off at night

I'm wondering whether I should turn the UTH off or on at night. I was turning it off in the night, but I saw a few people say that they will go to cooler temps when they want to. Which one do you think is best?

I would leave it on during the night. A stable temperature is best and, yes, the leos will go to the other side of the tank if they want to cool off. Hence why there's a warm side and a cool side.

Just leave it on, they will cool themselves as long as you give them a heat gradient
