LED and heat pad or regular heat bulb

I'm going to purchase my first Leopard in about 2 months and i'm planning to install the housing.

Should I buy a LED light and a heatpad of a regular heat bulb, because the first option is a bit cheaper on long term but I'm not sure if it's any good for the Gecko.

Could I get your advices please?

I use an LED light and a heatmat.
The heatmat provides the heat and the light is so you can see them at night time.

just remember red light, im pretty sure the leds will be fine.

Ok, but for the daytime I can use a regular LED right? Because there's a promotion in a store right now, very cheap LED'sz with standard fitting, and then I'll buy a colored one for the nighttime

I use LED red lights to view them at night; uses so much less electricity.
