Leftover mealworms?

What do you do with leftover, uneaten mealworms? I put several in the leo's dishes at night, but they never eat all of them. Do I leave them in there and add fresh ones?
So far I've been throwing the "old" ones out every night.

I personal replace the feeders every day if they didn't eat them, and I put the old ones back n with my other worms to let them fatten up so I can feed them to my geckos another time. it saves me money, and helps me build up my mealworm colony!

Okay, that's what I was wondering. I figured if they're in the dish too long, they'll lose their nutritional value, but I wasn't sure if it's safe to just put them back in the tub with the other ones. That answers it, thank you!
