my leo is not interested in eating anything else than crickets so i was wondering how many crickets should a normal sub-adult leopard gecko consume within a full week?

Hard to say really, this depends on the size of crickets, how often you feed it, and the size & appetite of your gecko. Generally for sub-adult you would feed every day or every other day. And you feed it what it wants to eat, then take the rest of the crickets out. You can go for a week and count how many your gecko eats, and judge it from there.

i see.. i thought there's like a default average number of crickets that a leo can eat. appetite varies per individual then?

i have a sub-adult female about 7~8 inches long that eats 1 large adult cricket or 3 small sub-adult crickets daily. making a total of 7 crickets(L)/21 crickets(S) per week. she doesn't look skinny and i can notice the slight fattening of the tail and is quite active during the night.
