Hello,
A week or so ago my leopard gecko was having a hard time getting his shedding off his head( he always seems to have trouble with just that area). His tank is usually very moist when I notice that hes about to start shedding and he has a moist hidey hole. I took him out of his tank and put him in a smaller container with some warm paper towels to help with his shedding. As I had been helping him work the shedding off something had startled him and he jerked back and ripped it all off. I didnt think it was a bad thing so I fed him some meal worms and put him back in his tank. I noticed a few days after that hes acting oddly and I took him out and noticedd he isnt opening his right eye very much and when he does it looks almost completely black instead of seeing his silver pupil outline or whatever its called. He is constantly out now and laying around, and wouldnt eat until today when I tried to give him another meal worm and he couldnt find it but would get scaredd when i tried to give it directly to him. He eventually caught it, after many off target attempts. Im pretty sure its his eye at this point and I was wondering if theres anything I can do for my little guy. Please let me know

Thank you!
Nicole

What I did form my leprosy last night, when I noticed she had an obstruction in her eye, is to make a inch high warm bath in a Tupperware container. NOT HOT... but warmer than roomtemp... then lap some water over her head and slosh her around gently, slightly 'dunking' her head [so water can cleanse her eye],... or you could use some saline soln. and a syringe to carefully and accurately 'blast' free skin debris from her eye...

Just giving your leo a water bath weekly should help immensely with 'sticky' shed spots, like your dude's head...
