Leo is often looking upwards, and trying to get out

So our Leo, Lin, who is a little over 2 year old, is often looking upwards, some times strait up, and is trying to climb out of her aquarium.

To give you some back ground, Lin is our rescue we got about 2 months ago, she was in a smaller 10 gallon aquarium, we upgraded her to a 20 gallon tall aquarium, and added a UTH pad on part of the tank, temperatures in the tank range to 88 on the hot side, and 78 on the cooler side. She has constant fresh water, a humid hide, and 2 other hides. She is always on the UTH section when she's resting as well. She also was breed with our older male, Grant, 2 weeks ago. She seemed very happy back then. Also their tanks are next to each other, and I am not sure if they would bother her or not, Grant seems unaffected by it. I was thinking of putting something between their cages so they couldn't see each other. However, I never see Lin even looking in Grants direction, or visa-versa. I guess what is worrying me, is she has stopped eating as of 2 days ago. She used to eat about 4 meal worms, a about 2 to 3 crickets, and about every other day a wax worm.

Any suggestions are welcomed!

I attached a picture of their tanks, her tank is on the right.

You said you bred her two weeks ago, perhaps she's getting ready to lay eggs? Females are often more restless right before they lay, they also stop eating so that might be the answer. If she's not gravid it could be a change in weather that she is feeling or she's just warming up to you and becoming more curious. I wouldn't really worry about her too much as long as she doesn't start losing weight or acting sick (i.e. like there's something wrong with her brain that is making her space out, etc).

That's true, she could be getting ready to lay, however, I thought they didn't lay eggs usually for close to 4 weeks, not 2. Am I mistaken? Maybe I just worry too much over them...

It really depends on the female. I have had some lay as early as a week after they breed. Check her belly, if you can't see anything, you could post a picture and get a few opinions. Good luck!

Mine don't eat when they are about to shed and about to lay eggs. I use the 20L's but since you have 1 leopard in each tank the 20T are fine. You just might be worrying over them to much. Don't worry thats a good thing. It shows you really watch over them.

Well I am guessing she's about to lay. She started digging last night a lot. I didn't find any eggs today, but she did dig a lot in her container. And today she seems very jumpy when we'd walk buy she'd often spring up and running to her hide.

Here's a picture of her belly about 3 days ago.

I've been assuming she's gravid since it looks like it to me, and the fact she's digging confirms it for me.
