Hey everyone,
I have an almost 3 year old female leopard gecko. I was in my bed when I heard her making some strange noises. When I went to check, she had quit. Then about 3 minutes later I saw her opening her mouth wide and making noises like she was gagging (like something caught in her mouth). She just shed two days ago, and last time she ate (aside from her shed) was one week ago (it is colder now here, so she doesn't eat as often, plus she doesn't eat for about 2 days before or after she sheds). Her last poop was also a week ago, which was about what it was last winter (about once a week), but I'm still worried.
She did the gagging thing 3 times in about 15 minutes, and now hasn't done it for about 30 mins. Still walking around and seems to be breathing and everything okay. Not really lethargic as far as I can tell.
Could this be a bowel impaction, parasite, ???
